"Confetti" Sunstone is Oligoclase Feldspar in composition.  The colorful flashes are caused by flecks and platelets of Hematite.  Faceted stones of good size, minimal fracturing, and plenty colorful flashes are always a treat to see.

The rough we recently selected and purchased is producing some really nice stones.  We will offer the best of our production until all the stones are sold.

While we attempt to show both the level of transparence and the flashes of color, these faceted 'Confetti' Sunstones can only be appreciated fully in person.  This is a great looking oval, but we cannot get the photos to show the stone's beauty.
