We were pleased to select and purchase several very nice Spinels in Burma.  On return to Bangkok, we had each stone completely re-cut by a skilled and experienced 'Master Lapidary'.

This is one of those gems which is a real pleasure to look at, until you loupe it.  There are numerous very tiny spot inclusions throughout the stone.  Without a loupe or strong illumination (as used in the photographs, highlighting the inclusions), the stone appears clean.  Further, the color is outstanding, the cutting very good, and the gem faces up brilliant and simply beautiful.
