Recently brought to Bangkok from Madagascar by an African gem trader, we were fortunate to purchase this exceptional stone.  We slightly re-cut the stone down to 2.05 carats.   We left the pavilion deeper than ideal for two reasons.   First, obviously, to keep the weight over 2 carats is desirable.  Second, one reason the color is so rich and saturated is the fact that the pavilion is deep.

We had the unheated status of this Sapphire confirmed at AIGS, and a small cert with photo is included.
