This is a very fine example of the beautiful stones coming from north-central Mozambique.   The Ruby comes with a brief report from AIGS confirming that this stone is natural and unheated.

We have not seen a Mozambique ruby which surpasses this pear in overall beauty.  The color is vivid, the clarity excellent, and the cutting yields wonderful brilliance.  For those who believe that only Burmese Ruby can look this good, we invite you to appreciate a very fine stone from Mozambique as well.
