This untreated natural Garnet is a unique blend of Grossular and Andradite, also known as 'Grandite'. It is found only in the West African nation of Mali, and is known for its exceptional dispersion and lively brilliance. Mali Garnet is durable, untreated, and brilliant. We produce all our Mali Garnets from our own high quality selected rough supply. Our careful cutting not designed to produce the heaviest stone, but to yield the maximum clarity and brilliance possible for each gem.
Trillions are not commonly cut from the
generally rounded Mali Garnet rough. This is a beautiful stone,
and a good size for use in a ring setting.
