Pure Grossular Garnet, with no impurities, is colorless and quite rare.

This stone was mined recently in Mogok and is very nearly colorless, showing just a hint of pink.  While there are inclusions, the stone is exceptionally large.  This is by far the largest near-colorless Grossular Garnet we have ever seen.
