Although Moonstones from Mogok are not common, the quality of the stones can be exceptional.  Usually offered as cabochons, the best quality Burmese Moonstones can be faceted to create interesting, unique, and attractive gems like this one.

Moonstones from Mogok weighing nearly 10 carats are not often this clean.  This large oval has a mirror-like flash of silver-blue schiller directly across the table.  The stone is clean, bright, and well-cut.
