The new Tourmalines from Mozambique are fantastic gems.  The purple-violet stones will transform with heat treatment to neon "Paraiba" colors.  The unheated stones, however, now coming in a wide range of colors, can also be very attractive.

We have recently seen a number of bi-color Mozambique Tourmalines.  Many are very impressive and very large, exceeding 100 carats in weight.  This is one of the few smaller stones with nice colors we have seen.  It was purchased and completely re-cut just this past week.  It is the only bi-color Mozambique Tourmaline we have to offer at the present time.  The brilliance is particularly crisp and bright.
